New energy, new resolutions, new year-2017 has begun. And with this New Year comes the Lakme Fashion Week with its bang on designs. The Lakme Fashion Week is indeed a much awaited event for fashion lovers as the designers never fail to awe the audiences. The story’s the same this year too. The chic and cool spring/summer designs of the biggest fashion festival are fit for warm embrace. Whites, dyes, fringes, neutral, stripes, sleeves are the picks from this year’s LFW to make our wardrobe, summer-ready.
This year the fashionistas have given us a whole lot of bubbly trends. One of them is the eye-catching dramatic sleeves trend. This arm protecting part of clothing have been boycotted most of the time by the designers because of poor fitting and dowdy look. But with LFW 2017, the sleeves have again taken their place quite glamorously. This season, there’s a whole lot of innovative incite work on the arm area.
From ruffles, billows and lacy trims to capped and bell-shaped, the sleeves made a remarkable return in the biggest fashion platform especially from the GenNext show.
Plus, the Ishanee Mukherjee and Anirudh Chawla’s exaggerated tiered sleeves outfits were added blessing for us all. Truly, these sleeve designs have doubled the zeal.
Coming to beauty, this time we have bright eyelashes, crimped hair, floral hair and a variety of incredible and lovely trends.
Without any doubt this year’s makeup hero on the LFW ramp was highlighted skin. Highlighted skin was part of every look during the Fashion Week.
The makeup experts created and enhanced this pretty look by using some wonderful techniques like using less color on the rest of the or wearing it bold. This beauty trend was appreciated by all.
