WHEN THE DESIGNERS MERGED WITH WEAVERS, MAGIC FLOWED ON THE AMAZON INDIA FASHION WEEK HANDLOOM SCHOO


The AIFW-17 held at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Delhi is supported by home Decor brand and Good Earth. 13 key designers/labels – Akaaro, Antar-agni, Raw Mango, Sukit Dhir, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Urvashi Kaur, Pero, Rohit Bahl, Nicobar, Good Earth, Neeru Kumar, Eka and 11:11 Eleven Eleven showcased their work. Each of the designers worked with the talented students of The Handloom School and created a masterpiece in very modern and elegant way.

The Handloom School opened the show with a blast of black, white, grey, blue and yellow colors with a jot of pink and cream colors

Models walked bare feet on the green garden runway, filled with violet flowers. It was a unique and mesmerizing idea to walk on a runway with such looks.

Some designs in the show had a range of sarees and jumpsuit which was paired with a light pink cap and a blue cape, making it look exotic!

Models looked stunning in ivory, pink and white. They walked on the ramp with messy and ruffled hair with minimal makeup but a blast of color on the upper eyelid.

Men walked the ramp in white, yellow and grey quilted jacket. The makeup was light and hair were kept messy that made the entire look fabulous.

The showcased design had a beautiful range of loose and boxy silhouettes and blues and greys colors with structural elements like pleated skirts, turtle neck, asymmetric blazer, ruffled blouse and layering which gave the entire clothing line a fresh appeal!
